Historic Edgewater Home
After living in this historic 1908 Chicago home for over a year, the new homeowner felt somewhat stuck pulling the space together on his own. This project focused on bringing cohesion and warmth to the main living spaces while blending a mix of styles, patterns, and collected pieces to create something personal and unique.
We worked to honor the home’s original architectural details while incorporating the client’s love of the outdoors through a nature-inspired palette spanning the parlor, living room, and dining room. Existing furnishings were layered with both vintage and modern finds, updated lighting, wallpaper, collected artwork, and playful personal details — including the client’s favorite chicken artwork and a framed “Lemonade for a Buck” sign made by his son.
“Our home feels both elevated and completely authentic to us. Even though the space just came together, it already feels like we’ve always lived here.”
